Switch WLAN on when booting

I have a Fujitsu Pro V2000 and there is an inherent problem in that the WLAN does find the wireless until after logon. There is a fix that will cure this so that the wireless is found on boot. It means updating the BIOS from current SOU to SOV. I have found the various downloads but have no idea how to physically do this. Can anyone point me to the right site to find out.
