Sweetpacks removal

  JHHT 23:05 15 Sep 12

I'm having trouble removing this item. So far I have deleted it in Add/Remove programmes, used msconfig to deactivate it in Start Up and deleted all the files I could find in Explorer but each time I reboot the PC a warning appears and Windows asks permission to run it.

Is there anything else that I should do.

It could also be in your "add-ons" in Firefox enter link description here

I have deleted a lot of files including all that I can find in the Registry but it is a very persistent programme. The one that I can't get rid of is Sweetpacks PUA Fix. I have IE9 and Chrome as browsers but cant't find anything in add-ons for either of them. I can't find anything in the Registry ot programme files either.

Now that you've got rid of most of it try Ccleaner's registry cleaner with all browsers closed. As with northumbria61's link make sure it's deleted as a search engine in the list of your browsers.
