Received this error on booting with lots of numbers about memory Also received at same time Generic host processfor Win32 has encountered a problem and needs to to close. Computer frooze and could not even get control with Control/Alt/Delete. Had to pull the plug. Same errors the next boot but could use computer. Whats happening?

Can you boot into safemode (F8 on startup) and run your antispyware apps and antivirus.
Or possibly system restore.

Just guessing at the moment,as we have no error codes or anything else to go on....

Just to add,if it is a memory problem...Memtest should tell you so click here

The problem turned out to be something to do with Windows Automatic Update, at least the Generic host process for Win32. The other seems to have diappeared. No virus etc. Didn't do the mem test
