svchost - pf file?

  bax 02:21 14 May 04

I have noticed some strange behaviour on my computer running XP Pro SP1 and I see that I have in the C:\windows\prefetch folder. This does not seem right.

I have Ad watch, NAV 2004 and ZOne Alarm Pro 4.5 Spy Bot and Ad aware but they report nothing unusual. Should I be concerned?

Thanks for the advice. It's definitely SVCHOST.

Well. It still could be a worm. I entered svchost pf into google and what I found suggested it's the W32.BlueCode.Worm. Suggest you do the same and follow one of the links to a fix.
