Hi , Can someone explain to me how I can get rid of 'SurfSidekick'
I have windows XP with SP2 and I have AVG plus Spybot and AdAware but they dont touch it.

There are probably various tools & methods to remove it click here - some of very dubious nature I'm sure.

I would first take the easy option of letting a free legit online scanner try to give it the boot click here or/& click here. G

Hi, sorry I took so long answering.
I installed that program from your link 'Ewido' and ran a scan.
It found 50,182 infections but still didnt get rid of 'SurfSideKick'. However I went into add/remove and saw it was listed in ther. I highlighted it and clicked on remove and a small box appeared and it said type the security code in the box. the security code was just below the box. anyway I copied the security code into the box and it removed 'sidekick' I then ran Spybot and Adaware and they got rid of other files that had been affected by 'sidekick'.
Everything is running smooth and fast once again. many thanks crossbow7.
