supreme commander game problem with vertex shader

i have a toshiba equium intel centrino mobile laptop with a Mobile Intel(R) 915GM/GMS,910GML Express Chipset Family graphics card.
when running a compatability test for the game it tells me it is failing on Video HW Transform & Lighting and Vertex Shader Ver, which it tells me i have none.
so my question is to play the game will i have to buy a new computer, or can i upgrade the graphics card processor etc.
Or is it at all possible to download both from the internet.

Any help on this matter would be greatly appreciated.

you need a new computer as it is not upgradable in the graphics department.if it's going to be a laptop a go 7600gt graphics card minimum or a go 7900 or go7950 if you can afford it.

There is a product called the XG Station which plugs into the Express Card slot in the laptop if you have one. It is made by Asus, But there is no price in the mag im looking in, Maybe a quick search will bring up some results.

I had a look thanks jam500 but it looks like the unit may come out to cost around $600 which is probably what my laptop is worth now. But its one to keep an eye on cheers
