Hi i have a problem trying to put my omega radeon driver on to my set up is a new install

System specs

P4 C2.8 ghz
Corsair Twin X ddr 500 512 mb matched pair
Ati 9500

Seagate 60 gig os drive
DVD rom

400 watt psu 17amps on 12volt rail(jean tech)

I can install all other drivers, chip inf etc but when i try to install radeon omega drivers i get SUF60Runtime has encountered a problem and must close ! and that's as far as i can go, i have tried various omega drivers all with the same consequence

any info greatly appreciated

Have you tried the standard official Ati drivers?

Maybe something on your system is conflicting with the Omega installer.

Yes thanks i tried that and it is the omega installer that is causoing SUF60Runtime to close i think i need to edit the registry

I read this thread here but i'm not sure how to do, it if anyone has any advice how to do this and they could explain it in simple terms i would be very grateful

use the %SysDir% built-in to take you to system32 on users system

contents example:

[SMS Inventory Identification]

[Product Specification]
Product=Windows XP Professional

do a read from ini file action and return the string for Product Specification
for the value key 'product' .....done

if my_pro_check = "Windows XP Professional"
if my_pro_check = "Windows XP Home"
or if my_pro_check <> "Windows XP Professional" (not pro)

This will definately nail things for you..quick easy...hooray.

Try installing the Ati drivers then the Omega drivers over the top of them.
