Suddenly a blank page at Hotmail/Outlook sign-in.

Hello. For some odd reason I get a blank (white) page with only the address above when I try to go to hotmail.com or outlook.com. It isn't them as it's not happening on my laptop and other pages (with the exception of facebook.com, which brings up 'webpage is not available') are OK.

Any ideas appreciated...

Check your time and date is correct. If on IE then press CTRL+SHIFT+DEL at the same time. A window will open then select to clear cookies and temp files. Untick history only if you need IE to remember your browsing habits.

Thanks. Am on Chrome. I do use ccleaner regularly, so cache should be clear.

Installed Firefox and page appears OK; wonder what the moral of that is...

Don't use Chrome but there must be a way to re-set it to default and start again. Could be an add-on that's causing the problem. Can happen to any browser that we tweak.

I also get this error when I try to bring up hotmail.com

Error 103 (net::ERRCONNECTIONABORTED): Unknown error.

Does anyone know how to fix that?

BTW, when using Firefox, where I am able to get to hotmail, all sorts of variously sized pop-ups, including new pages and tabs, appear, despite block pop-up windows being enabled. Can anyone help with this?

Thanks!
