Now I am a full time student at college can I clame a disscount on software such as Microsoft Ofice as its £108 at staples and thats a bit much from my grant.

If what I think you are meaning then Microsoft student licensed software is already at a discount. If the store you are purchasing the software from is included in your student discount scheme then you may be entitled to a discount. Usually 10% for students.

I think that's the price for the student licence, or close to it. If that's too expensive you could try some others that are compatible with Office. Ability Office is one that springs to mind, older versions are usually given away free on computer magazine cover disks. click here
