Stuck Key: 70

Hey again people.

Doing a spring clean on a friends laptop and she's told me she keeps getting an error message when she starts up her laptop, it comes up:

0210:Stuck Key: 70

F1 to Resume F2 to Setup

I have no idea if any spillages have occurred but as far as she knows the answer is NO.
Model of Laptop: Sony PCG-FX401

If i needed to lift the key to clean, forstly are they simply numberred 1 - 100 (for example) and as its a laptop - is it easily done (sorrry, desktop kinda guy)

Cheers if anyone can assist

It doesn't mean a key is stuck.
It means a general fault when the bios does it's post

The key means a number pertaining to the particular bios, for instance 70 in one particular bios means error on clock check.

You need to publish the bios used

BIOS Version R0107K5

Sorted it. Ended up reformatting the lot (nothing important on there), sorting out the boot order on BIOS n it did the job fine.

Cheers Again
