Streaming Quicktime/WMP Files

Hey guys,

When I try to stream a clip off the internet (for example, I wanted to watch the matrix trailers earlier!) and then my browser just gos to a blank white page with a small .jpg icon in the top left corner instead of opening WMP or Quicktime and playing it. The only way around this is to download the clip and then play it, but I'd rather stream it.

I have Quicktime 6.1 and Windows Media Player 9

have you tried tools/options/filetypes in media player and ticking the wmv box open with media player then and try it.

OS and connection speed contibute.

I find that even with XP Pro and BB it's sometimes quicker to DL and view rather than stream - too many buffering pauses!
