Strange graphical effects.

I've been experiencing problems with my system for a few months. The problem is this;

When I'm playing games (WoW, TF2, HL2) after about 20-30 minutes, I start getting strange graphical effects. Parts of characters disappear then reappear when the angle of the camera changes. Strange triangles appear attached to characters and environment and bjects appear fragmented. Once I restart my computer, the problem is resolved for another 20-30 minutes.

I assume the problem is with my graphics card. I've tried gently cleaning it but with no result.

I've followed all the instructions from the respective games helpsites (updating drivers, updating directx, uninstalling and reinstalling, etc) with no result.

What can I do to solve this problem?

ok do,s your grafix card have a fan on it

if so leave the side of your case off to see if its spinning

also try playing the game without the side on . if the game plays for longer it means its a heat issue

not knowing your setup ie were the computer is located how many case fans you have if the gfx card is passive cooled
i cant pin point as yet
try the side off first
then well know more and i can advise better

ps if its a brand name system post its name so i can google to see how its set up and what inside it

leaving the side off for a prolonged period isn't a great idea as it reduces airflow across the components and thus increases temperatures

best advice check all the fans are working graphics and case replace any faulty ones

get a tin of air duster give your graphics card fan a good blow out if the card has one
also any case fans

check the game manufacturers websites for patches
