Strange Gaming Problem

Ok i'm still having trouble playing F.E.A.R. The game will either freeze, turn into rainbow colours, reboot pc...sometimes all 3 but the test modes works on all setting types.
I ran a quick benchmark on Doom3 via Bench'em All as i knew that game worked ok, as does Prey etc.
