It is spam mail

Just delete it

"just want to know if anyone is getting the same kind of e-mails". Possibly hundreds of people, if you are suspicious or know nothing about the name that its addressed to, then delete it from your computer.

They are flying around everywhere, just delete without opening.

Next might be grateful if you told them about this. It sounds very suspicious.

The ironclad rule is NEVER respond to any emails that ask you to go to a website and confirm your account details, password, etc., no matter how genuine they look. No genuine bank, credit card company, etc. will ever ask you to do this via email.

There are hundreds of these scams out there.

Never reply to any mail that is spam. This just tells them that the address is live and they will sell your address to others.

If possible don't open any mail that you consider to be spam, as he very process of opening can notify the sender of activity on that name.

delete such messages upon receipt, and carry on with your life. Take no further action - it's simply not worth wasting your time. The messages are spam, or phishing attempts, and belong in your waste bin.

Couldn't we all kill off spam overnight by writing a snail-mail to the company concerned saying we're annoyed by their spam and are therefore going to boycott their products from now on?
A few thousand letters landing on the desk of any boss would soon have him (and-just as importantly -his shareholders) sweating..
Or is that too easy a solution?

It would appear that you have little knowledge of how spam or phishing is generated. " A few thousand letters landing on the desk of any boss...." wouldn't solve anything.
