stop:c000021a (fatal) system error

While benching with 3DMARK03 my monitor twice went into stanby mode.....

Pressing the keyboard brought it back into view and 3DMARK was still running but then I got the blue screen with....

stop:c000021a (fatal) system error 0x00000080 (0x00000000) (0x00000000) sysem has been shut down.

Now I have done a google and it appears I am not the only one to have suffered this but everyone else seems to have had to perform some sort of repair/fresh install, where now I seem to be ok after only having to perform a hard boot/resetting screen res.

The things noted on Google were that it could be dodgy RAM....that got alarm bells ringing as I have just changed it so did memtest for just over 2 hours that resulted in all passes and no errors.

The only other thing is that I have been trying different catalyst drivers.

Anyone have any further advice as to what could have caused this?
