Stop User Editing Some Excel Cells

I have set up an Excel spreadsheet for a client to calculate his invoicing.

However as he is reliant on this to be correct i want to prevent him from being able to edit (accidentally or on purpose) the cells containing the formula.

Is there a simple method? I can see instructions to protect and entire worksheet but not cells.

Right click the cells to Unprotect, Format Cells, Protection tab, Untick Locked.

Do this for all the cells to unlock.

THEN protect the sheet.
