Stop People Looking At Source On My Site

  Conaire 00:25 12 Nov 03

I have some webspace which i upload games etc to so i can download and play in school. What other people have been doing in my school is, there going to my webspace and looking at files which i want to keep to myself. Although i deleted all the files, i may want to put more up. A mate of mine has put a password onto the webspace which you need, to log in and get the files. One problem is, if they where to go to the source they would get the url to the Games file and would be able to look at the files. Here's the url to the webspace click here
I would be delighted if someone could tell me how to hide the source so no one can find the url to the games folder.
Thanks in regards.

Depending on how bright your friends are putting it into frames could help stop them viewing that source code. They will go to the frameset source code and then have to find the names of the frames and then the source code of those.

There are better password protection options that you can use - search google for some.
