They said something like this to WinXP users, when they brought out Vista. Then again, when they brought out Windows 7. I still use WinXP but sadly not IE6.
When they bring out IE9 they'll, no doubt be saying something similar to WinXP users, because the two aren't compatible.
However, I'd like to go on record as offering my support for all those who still use IE6 and WinXP. More power to the new movement...
