When i log on to my windows xp pro computer, the startup folder opens up on screen. This is quite annoying and has only just begun to do this the last couple of days. By the startup folder i mean the one that is on the startmenu\programs\startup.
Any help would be appreciated.
Thanks

Dave

Did you recently install/uninstall something? Try reinstalling/uninstalling the 'suspect' program. Also, you could try a System restore to a point before you had the problem (but don't try this unless somebody else confirms it as well!).

It seems to be since i did a scan with norton windoctor and solved something like 180 problems with it. I couldnt swear it was that though.

Dave, try this:
click here - the folder opening at bootup is different but the principle/solution to resolve this may be the same, so worth a try. Good luck, G
