Can you download this program: click here

Save it to the desktop > Run it and then press scan.

DO NOT TICK CHECK ANYTHING found!

Now can you click save log?

Save the log, and post it here in 2 sections becuase of the 800 count limit?

Or...

Give us a list of the programs that are starting up in msconfig > startup programs.

This may help us to help you untick programs that dont need to start up.

However some of this depends on your computers speed.

in your bios change the boot sequence and put
1/ hdd
2/ cdrom
3/ floppy disk

it doesn't waste time looking for the floppy then

If it were me I would check out what I have running in start up and then use either of these sites to see what isn't necessary click here or click here and then untick them using msconfig.
