Start up problems after Adobe reader install

  Rogerfredo 21:50 21 Aug 06

I recently installed Adobe reader and since then my PC has become very erratic on start up.
It goes through the usual boot sequence, green bars start to go across (SP1), and then beeps and starts to boot again. The second time is usually successful, although I have had this happening 3 times in succession.
I have now removed the program and all is back to normal.
Has anyone else found this prog to be a problem?

Use Foxit Reader instead click here. G

You will probably find that it installs a 'quick startup' item. Disable using msconfig click here

Thanks for the swift replies. I will try both suggestions.
