START-UP problem

I have Toshiba Equium laptop and run Vista. A recent problem is that it isn't booting up - I have to F2 and then select F9 - default startup before it will boot into Windows.

Any suggestions?

At a guess F2 will get you into Bios setup, then F9 will load setup defaults, then you have to be sure to exit setup saving the (F9 default) changes you just made, if these settings do not stick at the next reboot perhaps you will need to replace the cmos battery , but since this is somewhat complicated in the case of laptops it may be wiser to have it done by a computer shop
