start up problem.

I am experiencing a problem with completion of boot-up.
When I start the PC, it goes to the users option, (I have two), and when I click on MY user, the PC just sticks on ... "starting your persanal programs ...." and stays like that until I force it to close down. After that it opens OK.
I do suspect Spy-Bot Search and Destroy, and I have now uninstalled it. During uninstall there was a hint of Start-up ....something, showing as it uninstalled.
Has anyone experienced a similar problem.
Of course, I will let Forum members know if it happens again.

Any Forum member.
Just to let you know, the start up problem I was experiencing was solved by removing Spy-Bot Search and Destroy, as I suspected.
I am not sure why this occurred, but I shall look around for a different spyware program, hopefully that doesn't interfere with Start Up!!
I shall close this subject but feel free to add your comments.
