When I start up the computer it does a scandisk everytime. I have XP (an upgrade from 98v2) and I know scan disks are healthy for computers, but it's annoying for it to do it everytime I start up

I'm not sure but look in all programs / startup, if scandisc appears delete it

Or look in Start/Run/msconfig/Start
