Out of that list, Keep RoboForm and Norton. All the rest you can clear out, if you want to add any later you want. I assume that you have left the windows files alone

When you have completed clearing out what you don't want at Start Up, this is an excellent tool to clear out all the old unticked boxes left over from disabled programs you no longer want to start.

Top of the morning to you.I hope that you don't mind me saying but in the last week you have you have had click here's that were not a 100% Malware free. I can't remember if you use McAfee site Advisor or not.But it does give you several bad downloads on your click here.Although the one you reccomended looks Ok there are others there that are suspect. Now we know that McAfee is not 100% accurate,But it gives you a fair indication of what sites not to use,I hope that you do not get annoyed at me pointing this out as I know that you would not want to give advice if it was not 100% genuine. We now wait for the rush of replies saying McAfee is useless but untill something better turns up.I will continue to use it.

thanks 'rawprawn' - does this also include the BHO one's - and do i just run 'Hijack This' again and tick the relevant boxes, and delete?

  rawprawn 11:49 17 Oct 07

Yes it includes BHO objects, you have a lot of toolbars such as Yahoo you don't really need. Just untick the relevant boxes and reboot. You will get a box on restart telling you alterations have been made, tick the box "Don't Show me this again"
Why do you want to run HJT? are you having trouble? If so there are malware specialists at
click here who are the people to help you solve any malware problems.

  rawprawn 13:22 17 Oct 07

I have had another thought, why are you quoting from the HJT Log? To see what starts you go to Start>Run> and type msconfig and hit enter. We really need to know which boxes are ticked there.
Don't confuse a HJT Log with Start up.Here is a complete list of all start up items.
