Start up files to folder not disk?

Hi Folks, Due to a trick combination of laziness and a laptop with a swappable A: and D: Drive I would like to make a startup disk for the laptop with an A: drive on another machine on the network.

Anyway that I can get windows 98 to do the work for me and save the files somewhere other than on a floppy, using the create startup disk command?

Cheers! Epirb.

I think I know what your asking, can you use a desktop to create a boot floppy for the laptop?

If this IS your question, then try here click here

Round the houses that was what I was asking I suppose and yes a timely reminder of that site, Thanks!

However, what I wanted to do (No reason to now mind) was go to add remove programs, click create start up disk and put the files into a folder on my win98 desktop instead of on a floppy.

Cheers, Epirb.
