i have a problem with my start up it takes so long it gets to when you can edit the bios settings so have to press f2 then exit and it starts up

will it boot quickly if booting from a DVD drive if so then HDD problems if still same then possibly OSU problems.

the operating system is win 7 most of the system is 3 year old when i try to boot from cd it takes ages to get it to boot it seems to not reconise the disc making me reset till it does

Go to BIOS and reset to default settings save and exit then retry.
