can someone tell me how to make a shortcut and send it to your start up thanks leo

Click Start, then move to programs and find the shortcut yo want. Right click and hold the button down on the shortcut and then drag it to your startup section of the same menu. When that opens, move the cursor over the opened menu and let go of the mouse button. You will get a prompt to copy or move. Select copy (left click) and on you next re-boot, the program the shortcut refers to will be invoked.

i have to make the shortcut and then put it into start up i can get it to my desktop but cant get it into startup thanks leo

Assuming XP:

If you've got the shortcut on your desktop,rightclick/copy or cut then paste it into your C:\Documents and Settings\All Users\Start Menu\Programs\startup folder

If you copied it,then delete from desktop.
