Another computer problem. The third this weekend!! When I press any key to start windows XP in standby mode instead of going to the desktop as it has done for the last 2 years it boots up and I have to log on on the welcome screen. It isn't password protected. I have been to power options but nothing there helps me. Any boffins out there to help. Thanks

From MS Knowledge Base

'Turn off the "On resume, display Welcome Screen" feature:
Click Start, click Control Panel, and then double-click Display.
Click the Screen Saver tab, click to clear the On Resume, display Welcome screen check box. '

Just looked on mine, it must mean 'On resume, password protect'.
