Is Spywareterminator robust enough to replace AVG

Just noticed that it's got anti virus now and wondered whether it's enough AV on its own?

Why would you want to?
I ran SpywareTerminator for about 18 months and it never came up with a single warning other than nagging me for permissions every time that I installed or updated a program.
Along came version 2.5 and I (along with many others on their forum) started to suffer mega freeze-ups so it eventually got the heave-ho and I cannot honestly say that I have missed it.
Maybe they have fixed it with the new version 2.6 buy I am no longer inclined to give it a try.

Spyware Terminator comes with a version of the OpenSource ClamWin. Some people like it but I don't think it's in the same league as the professional products like AVG or Avast!. No real time cover or e-mail scan. I would not recommend it as an alternative and have never installed it with Spyware Terminator.
