purchased p.c with windows xp home pre installed no operating system cd having loads of problems with spyware and has probably got viruses as well i tried system restore to restore back to an earlier time before we had any problems but this has not made any diference. an application called antivirus 360 downloaded its self and wants to be paid for before it will do anything.we are not in a position to pay for the software as we dont have a credit card and dont have the money to pay for it.if someone could advise me on how to get this software off the pc and perhaps recomend a free software to get rid of the spyware/adware.

Have you run your antivirus programme and you have a firewall i presume?

click here download this or get a friend to download it onto a memory stick. Load it on your computer, run it and delete all it finds. You should also run it in safe mode. Running your AV will be no good, also a firewall would not have stopped this.
