I've just finished removing various spywares inadvertently aquired through a download from tucows.I've spotted one suspicious one that 'spybot'has not flagged up( I may be a couple of weeks out of date, to be fair). It's rbfyq.exe ( definately NOT rbfg.exe).The clue was the firewall catching it trying to dial home! I've googled it with no return so is it safe? Have I discovered a new strain? Any ideas gratefully received.

Try the miccrosoft antispyware programme, it's pretty good. I run Adaware and Spybot and thought I had a clean system, downloaded and rand the Microsoft and it found all sorts of stuff, although it won't deal with cookies
