spyware guard

its now 3 years since it was last updated, is it still worth having . im doing a spring clean of redundant programmes and it may go the journey.
i would be left with spybot s&d, ad-aware se, spyware blaster, avg anti-spyware ( paid for), windows defender and a2 free, avg free anti-virus and zone alarm free. all these must be equal to the task without spyware guard.

I am tempted to agree - it doesn't seem to do very much, if anything.

You have 8 anti whatever programmes...some might say that was OTT so you should be OK.

SpywareGuard works on hueristics rather than definitions... therefore it is still effective. Having said that though, with all your other programs you should be ok without it.

Im a big fan of Winpatrol 10.5.I use it instead of Defender.
