Fails to remove what? Do you know the Spyware you are trying to remove?

Have you tried scanning in safe mode?

You have the three best ones,

Post the names of the spware.

You may also need spcialist advice depending on what you are infectd with.

Do as PaulB2005 suggests you can access safe mode by tapping the F8 button at start up then selecting Safe Mode.
If that does not work try this Program.

How do you get into safe mode, ive tried hitting the F8 key but it doesn't work.

Another method to get in safe mode is

Start - run - type msconfig - boot.ini tab - boot options tick safe mode box.

reboot the PC and it will start in safe mode run your scan and dont forget to untick the box so it will start nomally net time.

Hi Guys'
well i,ve tried scanning in safe mode but still hasn't solved my prob.
On opening the browser I get a home page called"click here"
and give me the following downloads

Spy Trooper
Spy Axe
The Spyguard
These give me free scans but then I have to pay to remove them.
What is all this about?

Hey Guys don't click the click here option in my last thread as it might affect your pc's.
Basically it is a web site which starts www.
and then finishes with,

all as one web address
and it ends .com.
Any help.

* It is necessary that you Close all other programs and windows including this one. So you should print or save these instruction locally in a text file for easy reference while offline.

* Double click on smitRem.exe and then click on Start. When it is done, click on the OK button. You should now have a folder called smitRem on your desktop.

* Next, please reboot your computer in Safe mode

* Once you have booted in Safe Mode and your Desktop appears, make sure you close any other windows and only run what is specified.

* Open the smitRem folder on your desktop and double click the RunThis.bat file to start the tool.

* Follow the prompts on screen and wait for the tool to complete and disk cleanup to finish.

* When the tool is finished, it will will create a log named smitfiles.txt in the root of your drive, eg; Local Disk C: or the partition where your operating system is installed. Examining that log should show that the infection was cleaned.

* Now reboot your computer into Normal Mode.
