Spylocked advice

I searched but couldn't find anything on spylocked. A colleague was 'duped' into buying it as it suggested he had hundreds of high risk files on his machine, so he did, then decided to ask us (!)

We searched (as I hadn't heard of it) and found various articles and removal instructions which suggests to me that it is malware however which removal instructions/programs should be trusted ?

Anyone with any experience of this software?

Use RogueRemover. click here

It would also be wise to register with this malware removal form click here and get them to check out your system. They'll ask you to download and run a scan with HijackThis click here and post the log file it creates, but read the FAQs on the site first.

Thanks guys. MAJ> Can rogueremover definitely be trusted?

Technotiger> My point above about "which....should be trusted" is that I didn't want to just google any old tool I didn't know because that could end up worse than what he already has !

Fair enough, though I have never had any bother with items via Google.
