I am on XP Pro SP2, using Norton AntiVirus and Firewall. After Search and Destroy I get a problem which says Windows Security Center.Antivirus Override in red. I do not understand this which seems to relate to the Registry. Do I remove this or not? I have done nothing so far.

I have set Spybot to ignore this.

Thanks. However, when I right-click on the problem "Windows Security etc" the entry "Exclude this detection from future scans" is greyed out. As a matter of interest, what would happen if I did remove this item?

"As a matter of interest, what would happen if I did remove this item?"

Nothing.

I removed it the first time I saw it because I didn't, at that time, fully understand its significance and nothing disastrous occurred.

I did, however, subsequently check that my MS Security Centre settings/notifications were fully operational just to be on the safe side.
