I have SpywareBlaster & I got infected even after the recent update. G

This has nothing to do with prevention. Spyaxe is run by the user (unknowingly) from a script that looks like an MS update. No firewall or anti-spyware will stop it This clearly shows that there is little point in relying on an arsenal of 'protection' if ther eis no common sense.
