Hi there,

Have new laptop with Vista home premium which worked OK till I aquired a virus last week. Run all nessacery Anti Virus and stinger software to rid virus and seems ok now. However, I am getting this message from Zonealarm.
Spoolsv.exe is trying to access the internet Allow or Deny. I have always denied this action nd i have checked on another PC for C:\Windows\System32\spoolsv.exe
But not shown on there system.

Can anyone advise what it is and waht to do. Should I delete it or eave it???

Many thanks

The spooler service is to do with your printer and,or fax.
The spoolsv.exe file is located in the folder C:\Windows\System32. Do a search for spoolsv.exe on your pc and If it's found anywhere else then the one in the different location is a virus.
If you've scanned again and nothing shows then you are clean.
