Spilt liquid on laptop keyboard

  coolteentom 09:45 06 Jun 10

I spilt a small amount of liquid on my laptop keyboard, and immediately drained it for about 12 hours. I have just tried turning it on now... everything works fine, except at some parts of the keyboard I press one key, and it types 2 or 3 other characters.

Has anyone go any idea how I can fix this / perhaps reconfigure it? Any help would be so appreciated - I am so desperate to get this working again!

You don't say what liquid it was. If it was Coke etc kiss the keyboard goodbye if not remove the battery and then if possible remove the keyboard and soak it in some clean water. TYhen allow to dry out completely(may take a couple of days).
