For a number of years I have used the spell checker SpellWrite. I have saved the download and used it on various machines. Now I want to download it on to my new laptop and find the file is corrupted. This programme (from Nerds Unlimited) is long gone - does anyone still have the download or know where I can obtain it?

As you say, it seems to have been discontinued quite a number of years ago, but is listed here (but you need a user name and password!):

An address for Nerds Unlimited is listed at the end of this link:

Right at the bottom of this page click here

I've given it a very quick try in XP and it worked okay.

Your eyesight must be better than mine - I missed it on that page earlier...:-(

Yes, it could be easily missed. On sites like that I zoom it up to 120% lol.

Thanks for your assistance chaps, but I'm still not really there. The site where you have to register is 12 dollars which is a bit much for just the one (free?) programme. The other site - although mentioning SpellWrite, the link given is to another spell checker. Nerds Unlimited is a totally different set-up now, and don't give things away! Anyway, it was worth a try!
