I run Windows 98SE and office 2000 but cannot seem to get the spellchecker to work in English UK. It is frustrating seeing Spellcheck U.S. all the time. I have tried all sorts to remedy this. Any ideas on what I am doing wrong?

In Word: Tools, Language, Set Language, UK Englsh, Set Default.
Unless you are missing a dictionary, this should work.

If you are having a range of odd problems, find NORMAL.DOT and rename it to NORMAL.BAD and Word will make a new one. Most of your standard bits and bobs are stored there.
