Spell Check in OE 6 - a mystery.

  Scribbler 16:18 24 Sep 03

A real mystery here. When trying to use Spell Check on an Email in Outlook Express 6 I get a pop-up saying "Please insert removable disk 'MS PictureIt!' Photo 2002". I can't imagine what this disk has to do with Spell Check, but when I then try to exit the pop-up it comes up with an error message and takes several tries to get rid of it. Any clues? OS is MS XP Home.

Do you have word/office installed? If so what version is it?

Yes, have Word 2002 installed.

Then it should work as is dependent on MS dictionary Regional Settings in Control Panel should be set to English British As should Word when you installed it. Make shure you have the British Dictionary loaded in word

Thanks folks, but it's nothing to do with Word. Spell check with Word works perfectly and the MS dictionary is set to UK English. My problem is purely to do with Spell Check on Emails. Any other ideas?
