Speaker Problem

  JLL 22:14 29 Nov 05

I have a 3 year old Mesh PC fitted with a Creative Soundblaster Audigy card and Videologic ZXR-500 5.1 speakers. When I turn off the computer, I have to switch off the Videologic system (awkward switch at the back of the console) first in order to avoid a loud thwack through the speakers. So I mainly leave the computer on all the time.

Anyone got any ideas how to avoid the thwack without having to turn off the speaker system first?

Try switching it off at the socket.

Mute the volume first??
