Source Code - rounding corners on a table

  Stiperstones 19:16 15 Mar 07

I have limited knowledge of code and I am picking it up as I go along. Can anyone help me with rounding corners (all four) on a table please? Just the lightest rounding would be useful. I'd also like to fade the orange colour down to white (top to bottom) if anyone can help there too (making the text black). The source code I've got already is:

td valign="top" width="25%">  /td>
table style="BORDER-RIGHT: medium none; BORDER-TOP: medium none; BORDER-LEFT: medium none; BORDER-BOTTOM: medium none; BORDER-COLLAPSE: collapse" cellspacing="0" cellpadding="0" border="1">
tr style="HEIGHT: 12pt; page-break-inside: avoid">
td style="BORDER-RIGHT: rgb(237,115,19) 1pt solid; PADDING-RIGHT: 1.4pt; BORDER-TOP: rgb(237,115,19) 1pt solid; PADDING-LEFT: 2.85pt; BACKGROUND: rgb(237,115,19) 0% 50%; PADDING-BOTTOM: 1.4pt; BORDER-LEFT: rgb(237,115,19) 1pt solid; PADDING-TOP: 0cm; BORDER-BOTTOM: rgb(237,115,19) 1pt solid; HEIGHT: 12pt" width="140">
div style="LINE-HEIGHT: 12pt"> font face="Verdana"> strong> span style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; COLOR: white">You are Logged-In /span> /strong> /font> /div>
td style="BORDER-RIGHT: rgb(237,115,19) 1pt solid; PADDING-RIGHT: 0cm; BORDER-TOP: rgb(236,233,216); PADDING-LEFT: 1.4pt; PADDING-BOTTOM: 0cm; BORDER-LEFT: rgb(237,115,19) 1pt solid; PADDING-TOP: 2.85pt; BORDER-BOTTOM: rgb(237,115,19) 1pt solid; BACKGROUND-COLOR: transparent" valign="top" width="140">
div> span style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt"> font face="Verdana" color="#000000"> /font> /span> /div>
p> span style="FONT-SIZE: 8pt; COLOR: rgb(51,51,51); LINE-HEIGHT: 150%; FONT-FAMILY: Verdana,Arial,Helvetica,sans-serif"> /span> strong>  /strong> /p>
p> img height="1" alt="" width="144" border="0" src="/custom/Image/trans.gif" /> /p>

As far as I know you need to use images of the corners to do this. For suggestions click here and click here

Thanks Eric10. I'll give that a go - I especially appreciate the timesaving links that you provided.

If anyone comes up with an easier solution...

Here's one that uses pure CSS:

Play with the colours and the code will appear. I haven't studied it so I don't know how it is done.

Thanks all. Purplepenny, I can't see where the CSS or HTML code fits into my code. Can you help?
