windows xp pro, i have a asus p4pe mobo with onboard soundmax sound. ive just bought a new sound card, a typhoon acoustic 6. i installed my driver and uninstalled soundmax and it works fine, but when i boot my computer, just after the widows logo, my screen goes blank for about 3 mins, when it finally boots it says found new hardware mutimedia controll device, but it cant find the driver. i think ive disabled soundmax in the bios. also, to make things worse, my mobo has got a p.o.s.t voice on bootup which doesnt seem to work through my typhoon card but i would like it to. please help! it seems like forever to boot up. thanx.
