Soundcard Problem

  Deano Baggio 23:31 20 Mar 03

I have recently created a partition of my PC. All seemed to go OK but whe I rebooted my machine I found that I had no sound when trying to play MP3's. If I try to watch the TV through my TV tuner card it's fine. I get an error message saying I have no soundcard but I know I have because it worked a few days ago. Please note that the soundcard is on the motherboard.

I have also noticed that I have no volume controller. The file is there but it won't open.

Can anyone help or offer any advise.

Have you tried uninstalling and then re-installing sound card?
