Soundblaster Audigy 2 - have I got platinum?

I apologise for my ignorance... but
I've just bought a computer from Poweroid - which arrived when they said it would, and they seem to answer their 'phone quickly, so I'm impressed, so far.

The spec I asked for included a Sounblaster Audigy 2 Platinum. How can I tell that what has arrived is a platinum, and not just the old (in computing terms) Audigy 2?

Again, apologies for my ignorance..

Also, what's the remote control for?

if you have the live drive in one of your 5.25 drive bays then yes it should look like this click here

the remote control is part of the platinum package..that alone could be enough to show that its a platinum card. also you should see the live drive in front of your pc with connections for microphone, guitar, nomad jukebox etc.

think of the remote control as a hi-fi remote control
