sound out of sync, can i fix this??

Hey g?ys i have an mpeg video file which was out of sync and i used virtual dub to fix it and was perfecr but the file is 33gb now, what did i do wrong and is there an easier way to fix the out of sync problem

what did you export as Dv-avi which is 13Gb per hour.Video redo probably best has manual fix for syn though probably never neededas it corrects pretty well on exporting .Not free but free trial

V.Dub and the like cant do things to commpressed data ( except maybe simple cutting) so it changes the .mpg to .avi.
V.Dub should have the facility to 'export' the file as .mpg after you have finished working on it.

If not, you could convert it yourself using MediaJoin click here
You will have to join a little video file onto your large file. You can then save the joined file it in a number of compressed fomats including .mpg.
