Hi All I wonder if you can help.

My Motherboard is the Asus Crosshair and I use the on board sound. This evening I've been having some sound issues in playing back games and listening to music it doesn't seem right it sounds like its off frequency.

I've tried re-installing the sound drivers and making sure all the connections to my speaker system are as they should be bit its still the same any ideas please on this one?

Thanks as always

Try going into the control panel and the sound and check the settings. eg is reverb turned off etc

Nope everything looks ok there.

It appears that the sound is muffled and I've checked all the options.

I'm suspecting a faulty on board sound card here

Have you tried updating to the latest drivers?

Got the latest drivers already, but for some reason the sound has picked itself up now and is blasting the house down.

Thanks
