Anyone ever had any problems with on board sound cards, mines all distorted.
I've reloaded the drivers but still the same problem.

Can I just buy a sound card and disable the on board

Yes you can, all you have to make sure is that you have a spare PCI slot, thats the white ones, and go into BIOS and disable the onboard sound. Would suggest getting one of the cheap soundblaster ones. Something like this as an example click here

You can buy a sound card, if you have a spare PCI slot on your motherboard, and then disable the on board.Have a look here click here they start at just over £6.

So has anyone ever had a problem with the on board sound card, cause I was wondering if there was any other problems

Anyway for around £10 I try a new sound card anyway
